REFERRALS ARE THE REASON ROLEOAK EXISTS

A clearer way to request a referral.

RoleOak connects jobseekers with eligible, verified professionals through an accountable referral process. The community is here to help you understand that process—not to collect CVs, expose employees or guarantee introductions.

ADDITIONAL REFERRAL TYPES

Platform and programme referrals are different.

Some independent AI platforms allow talent-network invitations or referrals to specific contractor opportunities. These links are separate from employee referrals, require administrator review and may reward the person who shares them.

01 · FIND

Find an eligible opportunity

Browse RoleOak-listed jobs with a referral pathway. Independently imported job adverts are separate and do not automatically include employee referrals.

02 · REQUEST

Submit a specific request

For an eligible vacancy, a candidate can provide a short explanation and a private CV. That CV is used for the authorised referral request, not shown in a public CV library.

03 · MATCH

Let verification and capacity decide

RoleOak checks the professional's employer verification, coverage and current capacity. If no eligible professional is available, the existing matching process may place the request in a waiting queue.

04 · FOLLOW

Track the real outcome

A referrer may review, ask a question, accept or decline. Candidates can track a delivered referral and report application, interview and outcome updates in their account.

IMPORTANT DISTINCTION

Not every listed job comes with a referral.

Referral pathway: a RoleOak-managed job where an eligible candidate may submit a referral request. Whether a verified professional is currently available is checked when the candidate uses the matching process.

Independent vacancy: a job imported from an official employer careers site. Apply through the employer's original website. It does not imply that the employer has partnered with RoleOak or that a referral is available.

QUESTIONS AND GUIDANCE

Community helps you prepare.

Ask about referral etiquette, eligibility, application timing and how to use RoleOak. Discussions are not referral requests, and no one needs to share personal contact details publicly.

FOR PROFESSIONALS

Refer only where you're verified.

Referrers must establish their company association, select the categories and locations they can support, and choose whether to accept requests. They decide what they can honestly recommend.

Become a verified referrer

Referrals are never guaranteed. Never pay a stranger for one, send confidential employer information, or share your phone number or personal email in a public discussion. Read RoleOak safety guidance.
