Privacy notice

Draft for pre-launch review. This page explains the platform's intended data practices and must be reviewed against the final operating company, vendors and retention schedule before public launch.

What we use

Account and profile information is used to operate candidate and referrer accounts. Candidate CVs and referrer verification evidence are private and are made available only where the referral workflow authorises access.

Referral information

Referral requests, status history and outcome updates are used to operate the referral marketplace. Candidate-reported outcomes are identified as self-reported.

Community

Published discussions and replies are public. Reports, blocks and moderation records are restricted to the people and moderators who need them.

RoleOak AI assistants

When you use a RoleOak-operated AI career assistant, the message you submit and limited relevant information from your own saved jobs or referral statuses may be sent to the chosen AI model provider to generate a response. Active public job listings may also be included. We do not automatically send uploaded CV files or referrer verification evidence to the AI model.

We store your assistant conversations, scheduled instructions and generated reports in your private RoleOak account. You can delete individual conversations and tasks using their controls. AI responses may be inaccurate, and AI providers may process information in other countries under their published terms. Do not include passwords, private verification documents or sensitive personal information in prompts.

The AI provider, controller details, legal basis, retention schedule and any international transfer safeguards must be confirmed and disclosed before the public AI service is enabled. These are not yet finalised.

Your choices

You can control notification preferences in your account. Before launch this notice will be completed with controller identity, lawful bases, retention periods, processors, international transfers and rights/contact details.
